RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We strive to give you the best shopping experience, but we understand that sometimes an item may not be right for you and you might want to return or exchange it.


Return or Exchange Window

You may exchange or return your order within 14 days of receiving the package. This means you have 14 days from the delivery date to request a return. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a return or exchange if more than 14 days have passed since receiving the product. 


How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, contact us at elizabeth@myleatherbags.uk and provide:

  • your order confirmation number
  • your full name
  • your email address or phone number
  • whether you want a refund or an exchange
  • the reason for the return
  • photos of any visible defects

Once your request is received, our customer service will forward it for assessment and confirmation. 


Return Conditions

To be eligible:

  • The returned item must be in the same condition as when received.

  • It must be unused and unwashed, in its original packaging, and with all original tags attached.

  • Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse the return in accordance with our terms. 

If the product is not returned in the same condition as received, My Leather Bags reserves the right to refuse the exchange or refund. 


Conditions That Do Not Qualify for Return

Returns or exchanges are not allowed if:

  • the customer ordered the wrong size even though size guides were provided;
  • the customer damaged the product after receiving it;
  • the courier could not find the recipient at the time of delivery;
  • the package was confirmed as delivered by the courier;
  • the defect was not reported within 24 hours of receipt with photos;
  • the return request was not answered within 72 hours of our reply. 

The company may request photos via email showing the defect or issue.

Important Notes

We are committed to providing accurate product information (descriptions, specs, and images). However:

  • Personal expectations regarding color, texture, material, or aesthetics are not valid reasons for returns;
  • Screen settings or technical factors may affect how colors appear and do not count as defects;
  • We provide size guides on each product page to help make informed decisions. 

Exchanges

If the received item does not match the selected size:

  • You may exchange it for a different size or another product from the site.

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of receipt.

  • Exchange instructions and the return address will be emailed to you after contact.

  • Replacement items are shipped once the returned item is received and inspected. 

Exchanges are not allowed if the customer made a mistake in ordering after consulting the size guide.


No Refunds for Delivery Delays

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for delivery delays


Return Shipping

  • You must return the item and provide a tracking number so we can verify arrival and process your refund promptly.

  • Without a tracking number, we cannot confirm delivery and your refund right may be forfeited.

  • You can use any courier service; however, return shipping costs are not refunded, so choose the most affordable tracked option.

We refund the amount within 14 days after receiving the returned item in our warehouse. Refunds are made via the original payment method, unless otherwise specified.


Complaints / Refund Claims

If you intend to file a dispute or refund request with your bank or payment provider, you must first contact the seller.
You should notify the seller in writing of the problem and give a chance to resolve it via email or the website contact form.
If the seller does not respond within a reasonable time or fails to resolve your issue satisfactorily, then you may consider a chargeback. Contacting the seller first often resolves issues quickly and efficiently. 


Order Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted only within 3 minutes after placing the order.
After this time, the order enters processing and cannot be canceled.
Check your order carefully before completing your purchase.
